I can imagine after Tad’s betrayal Eli getting depressed and locking himself in his room for days and nobody could get him out. How would the others react to this ( this would include the your hc Shane team) and who would be the one to get him out of it?

I think everyone is dealing with Tad's betrayal in their own way. Especially since it comes after having just being able to trust again thanks to Junjie, after what happened with Twist.

Eli takes it harder because before everything, he could connect with Tad on a more personal level in comparison at most others, due to that fact the two of them grew up Top Side.

So Eli being depressed about Tad's betrayal and having to send him to the Deep Caverns is a real possibility, in that case-

The Gang are trying different things to get him out of his room for more then a few minutes or for missions.

Kord is talking to Eli through the door about new Blaster and Mecha upgrades, asking if he wants to come test them out, have a duel, help him work on something to no real answer other than a muffled 'later'

Trixie is knocking in his door, asking if he's okay, and wants to talk. Eventually realizing that's not gonna work, and trys to convince Eli to come out by trying to convince him to go on a slug hunt, explore the Caverns, film something for the SlugNet. To no avail.

Pronto and Burpy however...

The two form an unlikely team in cheering up Eli and getting him out of his room. Burpy, having lived in the Hideout with Will Shane, knows where a few hidden compartments are, where Will explicitly told the slug not to show them to Eli till Burpy thought Eli might need what was in them. And Burpy thinks this particular thing is needed, and Pronto is the only member of the Gang who can pull it off.

So Burpy leads the Moleinoid to the Kitchen and through some Raoul Goldberg machine shenanigans, a hidden compartment opens, and inside is a dusty book.

A homemade cookbook, that contains recipes and notes from many Shane's throughout the years about recipes they have made with ingredients from around Slugterra that mimic the taste of food from the Surface. One of the last entries is from Will Shane himself, and it's his recipe for the fluffiest double chocolate, chocolate chip pancakes ever, the little note next to it reading

'Eli's favorite thing ever always makes him feel better after a bad day.

- Eli, if you're going to try to make this, please remember not to eat all the chocolate chips before adding them to the batter son'

Thus, Pronto, with some help from Burpy, set out to get everything they need to make the pancakes.

And the smell alone is enough to draw Eli out of his room. Just before digging in, Pronto gives Eli the cookbook.

The next day, the Trixie and Kord find Eli, Pronto, and the slugs in the kitchen, trying to make other recipes from the book.

So, like, can we talk about the fact that Blakk had Burpie? Cus like we see blakk had burpie, right? And then the goon doc (I CAN NOT take this name seriously chat) says that infurnus' go with the protector of the cavern, and I wanna know why he's with blakk. Like there's no way blakk was actually considered the protecter of the cavern.

I have questions about what was going through the head of Eli's mother for her to abandon her only child after he had just recieved knews of his father's supposed death

Like??? Ma'am?? Your 10 year old son is in desperate need of support and you're just going to dump him on another family member??

His father's disappearance and his mother's abandonment are the reason Eli is so intent on keeping his slugs around. It's why he was so distraught at learning he had to give up Joules for equipment, why he demanded they go back and refund the equipment.

He is so attached to the concept of family because of how his ended up.
